How many classes does my child need?
Every tuition ad implies full syllabus coverage, and every parent half-suspects it's untrue. Here is the actual arithmetic — so you can size the plan to the job, not to the fear.

What a chapter actually takes
Teaching one Middle-grade chapter properly one-to-one — explain, worked examples, unaided practice, recheck — takes 4–6 hours. A subject has 12–15 chapters, so covering one full syllabus is roughly 60–75 hours a year.
We are not a second school
Your child's school runs about 180 periods a year per subject. No tuition plan at any price replaces that — including ours. Our job is to repair what broke in earlier years, re-teach what the class moved past too fast, and prepare properly for tests.
Two ways to run Focus
Most families put all 8 classes into repairing the gap and leave coverage to school. If your child is on level and you want the subject taught in parallel, 8 a month just about works. Wanting both is 12 classes on that one subject — which the ladder allows.
Your plan is a number of classes, not a number of weeks.
Some months a slot comes round five times. We hold those fifth occurrences as a buffer — for make-ups, extra revision when a school test lands that month, or a check on a second subject. Nothing is lost and nothing is charged extra.
Two children? Three?

Exams coming?
Add classes in blocks of four at your plan's per-class rate. We offer it ourselves about three weeks before term exams.
Summer in India?
Pause any month with a week's notice. Your slots are held for up to eight weeks, and your teacher is the same when you come back.
